Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
500 gms Chicken (Skinned and cut into medium pieces)
2 medium sized Onion (pureed)
2 medium sized Tomato (pureed)
1/2 cup Curd
1 1/2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 1/2 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder (Haldi powder)
2 tbsp Coriander powder
1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
5 tbsp Coriander (Kothmir) (Finely chopped)
3 tbsp Mint leaves (Pudina) (Finely chopped)
1/2 lemon Lemon Juice
Salt to taste
4 tbsp Vegetable Oil

    This is an easy- peasy and masaledaar Chicken Masala recipe.

    Steps

    Heat oil and add onion puree to it. Sauté till golden brown. Add tomato puree and sauté further for another 4-5 mins on medium heat.

    Add turmeric, coriander powder, red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste and garam masala. Mix well and cook till the oil separates. Keep stirring in between.

    Add 2tbsp of coriander and pudina to this and cook for another 1 min.

    Now, add chicken, salt lemon juice and curd. Mix well and cover the vessel with a lid and cook for 15 mins on medium heat. Cook for 10 mins if using a pressure cooker.

    Garnish with coriander and mint leaves. Serve hot with rice or chapatti.
