Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
500 ml Milk
2 Egg (Whole)
100 gms Vanilla Sponge Cake
1 cup Fresh Fruits Optional (Strawberries and chikku cut into small pieces)
1/2 cup Sugar
2-3 drops Vanilla Extract

A custard or a cake? you decide! Its so easy to make I could make it in my sleep! And its so yum I could eat it all day!

Pre-heat oven to 150°C.

Take a circular mould and heat 1/4 cup of sugar in it till it melts and turns golden brown. Swirl to coat the sides of the mould. Keep aside to cool.

In a large bowl, beat eggs, milk, vanilla and remaining sugar until combined.

Crush the cake finely in the mould that has been coated with caramel. Add chopped fruits and pour the milk mix into the mould.

Cook in the preheated oven for 20-25 mins. Once done let it cool. Refrigerate for a few hours.

To serve, place a plate over the mould, hold firmly in place and turn over gently. The custard cake will turn over onto the plate, caramel side up.
